About Me

The Reception Area: Creating Inviting Spaces at the Office

When I opened the first office for my small business, I knew how I wanted to set up the work stations. What was not so clear is what to do with the reception area. Other than knowing there needed to be a desk for the receptionist, I was at a loss. That's where the help of an interior designer came into play. The designer took a look at the existing space and suggestion a few minor structural modifications, including the addition of a row of bookshelves. In no time, she chose the right carpeting, wall color, and furniture for the reception area. Touches like artwork and some live plants completed the look. Hiring a designer was the smartest move I ever made. If you need help with your reception space, let me share more about how the designer helped me. You'll be happy with the results.
